Happy New Year!

Guess it's not too late to wish everyone happy new year! Still can't believe that I've made it to another whole new year, 2017..in one piece. As usual, nothing much to tell about my new year's celebration. Just the same routine, lying down on my cozy bed for hours, scrolling my iphone, cook some good (???) food, watching runningman plus yknow just some usual stuff. Tbh, it's not that I don't have anywhere to go or anyone to hang out with. It's just, I realize that the older I get the more "me-time" I crave for hence.. #pleasedontjudge

Now, moving on to the 2017 topics. New year's resolutions. So what's yours for 2017? To be prettier? To be healthier? To be happier? Bet you've got lots and lots of them in your mind. Mine, they are still the same and yes, I just recycle/reuse or whatever you call it every single year and nope, didn't feel guilty at all cause after all they are all the GOOD things that you wished in your life. So, why not? Anyway and anyhow, I've added a few extra things on my list this year that I sincerely and dearly hope to achieve by the end of this year.

  • To upgrade my relationship with Allah S.W.T
  • To save as much money as I can in my personal account
  • To start piggy-banking every month
  • To learn to say "NO" to others
  • To appreciate those who never leaves me, more

To summed up my first 2 weeks of the new year, I've finally found myself a patient for my upcoming prosthesis exam which I can say is kinda big achievement for myself, finished 3/8 of my midterm papers, starting my "healthy" diet plan, wake up early everyday (except on week days) and now for the highlight point is having a minor operation to remove my lower wisdom teeth and it's a success! Yeayyy! Oh btw just to clear things, I'm not the one who performed the surgery. The surgery was performed on me, so double yeayyy!

Honestly, to remove my wisdom tooth through surgical procedure (minor) has always been in my 'to-experience' list as a dentist. Sounds crazy right? But the truth is, I'd like to experience all kinds of dental treatments before I officially become a dentist so that I can understand my patients feeling better in future. And so far, among all the treatments I've received (from caries removal, scaling, RCT, wisdom tooth extraction and etc.) I can say that wisdom removal (surgery) is definitely on top followed by root canal treatment..
